There is nothing new or useful in this book, it is a re-hash of what has been written about this subject for the past 50 years! A total waste of money.

This is the book I’ve been looking for. I’ve always wondered why I do certain things when it comes to eating healthy or not eating healthy. I know the specifics about nutrition. I know what’s good for me and what’s not. Other books tell you the nutrition pieces and what combinations of foods and exercises work. But no one has ever told me why I can stay with it for a few weeks and then ‘fall off the wagon’ (so to speak). “Mind Your Diet” by Dr. Melinda Blackman does that. I’ve read many diet books. This one is a unique subject that I’ve never found anyone cover in any of the other ones I’ve read. The book is also an easy read. You don’t have to be a psychology professor to understand what she is saying.

So glad I stumbled upon this book

I am very motivated to start my diet now. The book told me about the psychology behind why I eat and how to control my eating thoughts and those situations that provoke me to binge eat. I read the book last month and now I am 6 pounds lighter-yeah :)

Will totally recomend this book to friends and family

I loved this book and could not put it down! Why didn’t someone write this book sooner….maybe about 12 years ago when I started having to diet. Mind Your Diet was a easy and fun read. I now understand why I haven’t been able to stick to any of my diets in the past. I learned that dieting is not entirely about food, but your head needs to be in the game too or you won’t even loose a pound. The wristband with the word D.I.E.T.

Do I Eat This? on it is a cool idea and makes me stop and think if I should really be eating that food. I have lost 3 pounds in the last week after reading the book, which for me is amazing because summertime, with the kids home from school, is my high stress/reach for carbs, time of year. After reading the book, I can now say that for the first time in the past 12 years, I am in control of my eating.
